Information The building at 5995 South
Virginia Street in Reno, Nevada was design by the Wirth Group and
built by Frank Evans Construction in 1994. It shares its access,
parking and common area with the Del Monte Plaza Center. Parking is
excellent.
The gross square footage is 8888 with one third wrapped in an open
“c” shape on the second floor. There is a front stairway and
fireproof back stairwell. There is no elevator.
The structure has
sprinklers and burglar-proof glass on all lower windows. There are
three bathrooms, janitor room and kitchen area. The last tenant
installed showers for it’s operation as a gym. The back door
is 48 inches wide and will take a standard pallet.
The building is well lit
and wired. It even has power, phone and network cabling embedded in
the retail floor about every 12 feet. The phone closet under the
stair well has 25 incoming phone lines. There is room for both
network and voice mail servers.
There are three 21 feet
long by three feet high signs on three sides of the building
including one with freeway exposure, plus the top location of a 19
foot high pylon street sign on Virginia St. The
